NM-JDL Series Medium-temperature Thermocouple Calibration Furnace
NM-JDL Series Thermocouple Calibration Furnace is mainly used for the verification/calibration of base metal thermocouples (types K, E, J and N), working noble metal thermocouples (types S and R) and standard thermocouples (types S and R) within the temperature range of 300-1,200℃.
The main technical indicators of the products meet the requirements of relevant verification regulations and Testing Specification of Temperature Uniformity in Thermocouple Calibration Furnaces (JJF1184-2007).
1. Application of Thermocouple Calibration Furnace
NM-JDL600A Thermocouple Calibration Furnace is mainly used for the calibration of working base metal thermocouples (types K, E, J and N) and working noble metal thermocouples (types S and R) within the temperature range of 300-1,2000℃.
According to the national metrological verification regulation of thermocouples, the maximum uniform temperature range of the calibration furnace is widened to ensure the accuracy of calibration.

3. Main technical indicators of thermocouple calibration furnace
3.1 Furnace size：Φ40×600mm
3.2 Operating temperature：300～1200oC
3.3 Rated power: 220VAC，3.5KW
3.4 Allowable heating rate：≤40℃/min
3.5 Temperature field distribution: the axial deviation between the highest uniform temperature field center and the geometric center of the calibration furnace shall not be more than 10mm, the length of the uniform temperature field shall not be less than 60mm, and the temperature difference within the radius of 14mm shall be ≤1℃.
4. Installation and use of thermocouple calibration furnace
4.1 The temperature control thermocouple is inserted into the left side of the furnace, and the standard and calibrated thermocouples are inserted from the right side;
4.2 In case of unstable temperature control due to unstable power supply or interference of the system, a 5KVA AC purification power supply shall be added.
4.3 First, install and connect the standard thermocouple and the calibrated thermocouple, and then turn on the main power switch for power-on operation.
4.4 By adjusting the maximum output power limit of the thermocouple calibration furnace control system or other temperature control equipment, the heating speed of the calibration furnace is limited within 40℃/min during the heating process to prevent equipment damage caused by excessive temperature rise.
4.5 During automatic calibration, the computer automatically controls the parameter modification and operation of the instrument and the heating process of the calibration furnace.
5. Precautions for thermocouple calibration furnace
5.1 The furnace shall be kept clean inside. After the thermocouple is installed, the furnace mouth shall be blocked with refractory materials.
5.2 When the calibration furnace is used for the first time, the furnace temperature shall be increased to about 500℃, and the furnace can be used after drying for 2 hours at the constant temperature.
5.3 When the calibration furnace lies idle for a long time, it shall be stored in a dry and ventilated place. It shall be dried before reused.
5.4 For safety, the calibration furnace must be reliably grounded and the power supply must be connected to 220V AC 16A.
|Uniformity of Temperature Field||The axial deviation between the highest uniform temperature field center and the geometric center shall be ≤10mm, the length shall not be less than 40mm, and the temperature difference shall be ≤1℃.||Within 30mm in the axial direction of the effective working area, the absolute value of temperature difference between any two points shall not be more than 0.5℃; within the range of radial radius not less than 14mm, the absolute value of temperature difference between any two points on the same section shall not be more than 0.25℃.|
